            She was out. It's been a crazy vacation. It seems like we were constantly on the go and making the most of the time we had down in SoCal. Tomorrow, we pack the car and head home, taking with us the many memories of "firsts" for Kaylee. We become jaded as adults, taking for granted the wonder of new things a kid experiences. To her, everything is amazing. A car, a bike, a camera, the way birds fly, or water comes out of a hose, or the taste of a cupcake. She gets excited over all of it. And she gets pooped out pretty quickly from the overload of senses.

As old people looking at the young, we see endless potential. But as young people looking at the old, we see wisdom. What we often fail to do is see us as we truly are. No matter what stage in life you are, you are a walking duality. You are both young and old and you have to see that within you, you contain both limitless potential as well as a vastly large wealth of wisdom. People fail to see that, always opting to look at others as their means to an excuse. "I'm not experienced enough" or "I'm too old to change and learn something new" should never cross your mind.

You are young. You are old. You are ready to take up arms against your challenges. It is you who blocks your view of who you want to be. Get out of your own way and get back to trying to completely tiring yourself out from experience life.
