Greater Thorn-tipped Longhorn Beetle ~ Pogonocherus hispidulus

            Another equally shabby longhorn shot, but this one shows the position of the 'thorn' like teeth at the tips of the elytra a bit better. 
A super little beetle, less than a centimetre and disguised as a bird poo, it's rarely seen in the daytime, when it normally rests up with its antenna folded back along its body.
