Pilot Boarding Near Virginia Beach on the Vision of the Seas Eight Night Cruise to the Southeastern United States and Bahamas - February 23rd, 2024

            Around 9pm on the evening of February 23rd, 2024, as we were heading near Virginia Beach and the start of the Chesapeake Bay, I looked out our balcony on the port side of the 8th deck and saw the Pilot boat underneath.  I could also hear the noise as the pilot boat rubbed up against the Vision to make it safe for the pilots to board.  The two pilots boarded the ship for the nine to ten hour trip to Baltimore.  I was just wondering where we took on the pilots.  This was before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.   On board the Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas for an eight night cruise from Baltimore, Maryland to the Southeastern United States and the Bahamas (February 16th, 2024 to February 24th, 2024).    The cruise embarks from Baltimore, Maryland with stops in Charleston, South Carolina; Port Canaveral, Florida; Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, and Nassau, Bahamas, before returning back to Baltimore.
