Boxing Day Dip, Seaburn, Sunderland - a photo on Flickriver

            Most of those taking part in the Boxing Day Dip dress-up for the occasion. Being Boxing Day, there is always a major festive theme, so lots of Santa's, snowmen and fairy's, etc. There are some who put a lot of thought  into what they're going to wear, sometimes not quite so practical when you reach the water's edge. I'm guessing these two are elves, partly wrapped up as Christmas presents (I didn't really want to ask for any deeper meaning or clarification as I'm sure it wasn't that important!).
