This striking landscape photograph captures a breathtaking sunset over central Scotland, looking west as the sun dips below the shoulder of Abbey Craig. The Wallace Monument stands tall in silhouette, its dark outline contrasting sharply against the deep orange and gold hues of the sky.

Beyond, the distant peaks of the Trossachs emerge softly from the hazy horizon, their forms fading into the sky. Ben Lomond, Ben Arthur (commonly known as 'The Cobbler'), and Beinn Ime create a layered backdrop, adding depth and a sense of scale to the composition.

In the foreground, power lines and poles stretch across the rural landscape, subtly framing the view while leading the eye towards the sun’s glowing orb. The atmospheric perspective enhances the scene’s warmth and tranquillity, evoking a sense of stillness as the day draws to a close.
