Black and White - a photo on Flickriver

Black and White

            This brilliant white flower stood out among the shadows of the wooded area we walked through. The background was already a very dark green so I thought I'd convert it to a straight black and white image for even more impact. I think it's worked out ok, I like it enough to have made it my desktop wallpaper anyway :)
