Copper Light and Waves - a photo on Flickriver

            Coppery sunlight filtered through heavy smoke and light ash from forest fires glints off the brown waters of the Salish Sea at the Fauntleroy Ferry terminal in Seattle, Washington, on September 5, 2017. Although the forest fires were hundreds of miles away, smoke permeated the entire state, bringing a surreal color to sky and sea alike.
