Shoreline Suncruisers V522ESC - a photo on Flickriver

            Scarborough on a sunny Sunday begins to whirr into life at around 0900, with day trippers arriving and seafront outlets stirring from their overnight slumber. This is normally a good cue for me to exit, which I did shortly afterwards, though not before taking a few photographs of the town's open top bus operation. The first Shoreline southbound working, which departs fifteen minutes before the corresponding EYMS journey, was operated by former Lothian Trident V522ESC which is seen on the shores of the North Bay as it rounds the castle headland. The vehicle was purchased in late 2016 and is representative of the present state of play on the Scarborough seafront operation with both companies deploying first generation low floor deckers.
