            La gola di Gorropu o di Gorroppu è un profondo canyon ubicato nel Supramonte, in Sardegna, e demarca il confine tra i comuni di Orgosolo e Urzulei. La gola si è originata grazie all'intensa azione erosiva provocata delle acque del Rio Flumineddu.

The gorge of Gorropu or Gorroppu is located in a deep Supramonte's canyon , Sardinia, and marks the border between the municipalities of Orgosolo and Urzulei. The gorge is originated due to the intense erosive action caused by the waters of the Flumineddu. The Gorropu, with its more than 500 meters. height and a width that varies from a few tens to 4 meters, is considered one of the deepest canyons in Europe and it is habitat for several endemic species of Sardinia.
