Last of the blue skies - a photo on Flickriver

            You were there when the world spat out it's last breathe, 
They said the world had a cold heart,  but it was it's warm breathe that drowned us all.   From blue to brown so fast we could barely tell the sky from the ground.   What good are puffy white clouds in a shit colored sky.  You were there when we could've made a difference,  but everyone wanted to catch up,  the bottom line eventually made its way up above our heads.   

( I have never been good @ poetry ... but that's what I felt when I revisited this shot )
