Packsaddle Covered Bridge - a photo on Flickriver

This bridge is located in a beautiful, peaceful, wooded area where it crosses Brush Creek in Somerset County. This photo was taken while standing in the middle of the stream. The falls under the bridge made it quite worthwhile the climb down the embankment to take this shot.

The bridge was built in 1870 and is owned by Somerset County. The length of the structure is 48 ft. and the width is 14 ft.. This birdge is open to vehicle traffic and is in good condition.
