This planet is strange - a photo on Flickriver

There is a house in Pasila that is trapped between the railway line and a main road. It is decorated with hub-caps and abandoned dolls, and all manner of rubbish. It is a pig mad place but visually very interesting. The fences and walls remind me of an elaborately decorated wedding cake. Everything is covered in decades of dirt and grim. I imagine an immaculately dressed man in a bowler hat lives inside that ramshackle house, which has a spotless modern kitchen in stainless steel.

I think his name would be Mr Faversham, who in the 1960' had been gilted at the alter, At first he adorned the fence and walls of his house with wedding presents from that ill fated day, then steadily over the years he just added more junk, until every tree and bush were festooned by pots and pans, every wall covered in abandoned traffic signs, every surface a confection of string and bubble gum.
