ladybug - a photo on Flickriver

            Sitting up in bed, meditating with the lights off, i felt an insect land on my head. I brushed it off, but later felt it land on my neck. I brushed it off again, then turned on my lamp. i looked around and finally spotted the culprit on me again, this time on my shirt. It was a ladybug.

I was surprised because i hadn't recalled seeing a ladybug in at least the last two years. I got the ladybug to crawl onto my finger, then took a few photos. Some cultures believe it to be good luck for a ladybug to fly into your bedroom, other's say the same thing about having a ladybug land on you. After about 20 minutes of admiring my unexpected guest, i opened my window and bid him/her farewell.
