Into the Glass Ball! - a photo on Flickriver

            This does satisfy the 3" rule !!!

Photo taken into a clear glass ball resting on my worktop.

The image was converted to B&W and flipped upright.
You are looking at my desktop 'tidy' that contains Schaffer pen, scissors, tweezers, pencils and small paint brushes.
Through the end window is my neighbours' house roof and store, trees in our garden, and the valley hills beyond. Quite a 'scene' for a macro picture - and it is a macro because it's a photo of a distorted image in a glass ball, not the 'scene' itself.

Through the week I had three different attempts at this and am still not happy that I have done justice to either the basic idea or the image to be captured.
