Flickriver

            'MacroMondays' theme of 'Buttons & Bows'.

Seem short on bows so it was a case of raiding the 'Button Tin'. This contains an accumulation that must date back to pre WW2 days. Remember the old pressd tin buttons? Found some of those! There were strips of buttons on card and plenty of single buttons but very little that inspired me even though I had tipped out all the contents onto the kitchen table. However 'hidden' in a small brown paper packet was a rather fine flat gold button. So I tried photograping that and didn't like the results. 
So I returned to a button I had tried before. M said she couldn't remember ever seeing it and had no idea how it had got into the tin. I now wonder what garment it was supposed to be for?

With the little Pentax lens still attached to the camera I wondered what sort of bokah I might get - judge for youself! Oh!, and very different lighting from last time!
