            The Cité Hellemans or Hellemanswijk is a residential area of the Brussels social housing company De Brusselse Haard in the Marollen in Brussels-City.
The district is known in Brussels as Les Vieux Blocs (The old blocks) or Cité Hellemans after the name of architect Ernest Hellemans (1859-1925) who designed the complex between 1906 and 1912.
The residential area consists of six parallel streets that are named after old professions. The city council gave the names of "noble" (read: "clean") professions to the low-lying streets and the more "dirty" professions to the streets that were high. From east to west they are: Schoorsteenvegersstraat, Timmerliedenstraat, Kuipersstraat, Stoelenmakersstraat, Borduurdersstraat and finally Goudsmedenstraat.
