Vote Bill Rowback Mayor - a photo on Flickriver

I googled Mr. Rowback to see if he won the election and was met with intrigue and shenanigans.

Rowback beat the incumbent mayor in the September 2017 Republican primary. The mayor, however, qualified for the ballot on a minor party line. The initial count for the general election had Rowback squeeking out a victory, but the outcome flipped back to the incumbent a few days later once all absentee ballots had been counted.

But, wait, there's more! During a debate leading up to the general election the mayor, Dayton King, admitted to pulling Rowback's personnel file and somehow that file made its way to social media. King was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor misconduct charge. As of last spring Rowback had filed an ethics complaint against the mayor and two other city officials. King is still mayor and his trial begins next week.

Who knew a hand-lettered poster could lead to so much information!
