Les ruines de la collégiale Saint Léonard (XIIème siècle), incendiée en 1794

            La collégiale Saint-Léonard, de style roman, dont les ruines sont encore visibles aujourd'hui, aurait été construite au XIIème siècle par le petit-fils de Pierre Ier, Pierre II de Chemilé (1050-1120).

Cet édifice comportait trois tours de clocher. Il en subsiste une absidiole, une partie du bras sud du transept ainsi que le mur sud de la nef.
