2007-12-23-424 London Royal Albert Hall Hyde Park Fog

'Everyone knows' that London has fog! I'm afraid it's an occasional event, but we did have fog on Dec 23rd and there are lots of photos of it on Flickr.
So here's one of mine!
London's Royal Albert Hall (named, rather tenuously after Prince Albert but a long while after his death, however it's near the site of one of his triumphs, the Great Exhibition of 1851).
The searchlight, which makes it look like a miner's helmet, actually illuminates the Albert Memorial.
