U.S. Marines participate in Northern Lightning 23

            U.S. Marines with Marine Fight Attack Squadron (VMFA-211), 3d Marine Aircraft Wing, conduct F-35B Lightning II flight pre-checks during Northern Lightning 23 at Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Wisconsin, Aug. 7, 2023. This iteration of Northern Lighting provides the opportunity to train with the local Air National Guard as well as accomplishing Marine Aircraft Control Group-48’s (MACG-48) annual training with support from VMFA-211 to demonstrate aerial lethality with tactical level and full-spectrum, high-end training.
