Queen is Gone...
on the last days, her "Royal Guard" Cha had always been beside her.

Miho the Cat (2005-2020)

Our Queen.
Our First Cat.
The "Godmother" of our family.
The "Godsister" of our cats.

Lady Miho crossed the Rainbow Bridge like gently sleeping on 18:50 January 18, 2020.

My firend, a local cat care-giver, Mrs. N sent her to us fifteen years ago.
Miho had been captured at a park in the industrial city of Amagasaki.
I and my wife were knock outed by photos by Mrs.N ... Miho's expression and her fluffy tail ...

Funny but stubborn lady.
Her pride was "healthy".
She had rarely gone to the hospital these fifteen years.
But since last september, she began to lose appetite because of kidney disease.
We had gone to hospital almost everyday to make a drip.

The last three days, she had showed slow and unsteady steps.
But she had gone to the dinner dishes or toilet without our support.
Until the end of life, she had been a LADY.

And Saturday evening, she finally decided to liberate herself on her most favorite place, my wife's knee.

We miss you, MIho.
Fifteen years are not enough.
But tons of beautiful memories we have.

My flickr name is "miho's dad", yes, and my icon is a photo of you.
And for some other SNSs, I always use the same name and icon.
I don't have mind to change that.
I am Miho's Dad FOREVER.
I’m SO SO SO happy to be your dad.

1月18日夕方。
最愛のミホが逝ってしまいました。

私たちのクイーン。
ウチのネコたちのゴッドシスター。

15年前、地元の猫ボランティア、Nさんの写真に一目惚れしました。
頑固そうな表情、ふわふわのしっぽ。
私たちにとって初めて迎えるネコでした。

ミホの取り柄は健康。15年間、病院に行く機会はそんなにありませんでした。
それでも病気は彼女を蝕んでいました。
腎臓の数値が悪く、昨年9月から私と妻はほぼ毎日、点滴に連れて行っていました。

最後の数日間、おぼつかない足でしたが、ご飯皿やトイレには自力で向かっていました。
最後の最後まで、立派なレディーでした。

ありがとう、ミホ。
15年じゃ足りないけど、たくさんの思い出があります。

多くのSNSで「ミホズ・ダッド」と名乗り、ミホのアイコンを使っています。
これを変える気はありません。
私は永遠に「ミホズ・ダッド」。
ミホの父ちゃんであることを、本当に幸せに思っています。

天国に行ったら、はっち、カシミア、しーちゃん、そしてFlickrで知り合った世界中のネコたちを訪ねるように。

ミホ、愛してる。心から。
