Hartwell Tavern (Explored) - a photo on Flickriver

The historic Hartwell Tavern, CA 1733 sits along the "Battle Road" in the Minuteman Historical Park in Lincoln, MA.

Although it didn't play a documented role in the Revolutionary war, British Toops are known to have marched past it on April 19th, 1775 (source: www.nps.gov/mima/hartwell-tavern.htm)

Behind the scenes: I had to kneel down to take this shot to avoid showing the roof of a black SUV that was parked next to the tavern. I thought it would have ruined the period feel.
