Nosey cows! - a photo on Flickriver

Nosey cows!

Today I'm not dipping into my negative archive quite as deeply as my previous couple of shots, this one is from 1998 and is taken on Ilford Delta 400 film with a Canon EOS 50e with the 20-35mm lens and a red filter. I have cropped it slightly to eliminate the vignette caused by the edge of the filter encroaching on the photo.

The location is along a public footpath near Southerndown known to the locals as Green Lane. Formerly wide enough to take motor vehicles the track has considerably narrowed over the years with undergrowth and bushes lining the banks and nowadays it is a struggle to walk there during the summer and in the winter it is extremely mucky with deep muddy patches. The path goes from the junction of the Southerndown, Norton and Heol-y-Mynydd roads down to the cattle grid on the main Ogmore-by-Sea to Southerndown Road near the Little West properties.
