Permission granted! - a photo on Flickriver

This morning I had a rare opportunity to view a historic Welsh farmhouse which is normally not available to the public. It was a short-notice arrangement with only a selected few chosen to visit. Colin Simper was the photographic co-ordinator and he invited myself and Dave Smith to assist him in recording the building. The house is historically important as it was the birthplace in 1723 of Richard Price; I shan't go into details of his life here but shall provide a link at the end of my text. The house is shortly to be renovated and today was the only opportunity to view the interior before work starts. We were allowed to view everything in the interior but present was the new owner and two of his company officials to ensure the safety of our party of nine which consisted of photographers and historians, although they were very discreet and kept out of our way providing information when requested. All my interior shots are better than the exterior as it was pouring with rain all morning.
