Beech Tree, Padley Gorge - a photo on Flickriver

            This must be one of the most photographed trees in Derbyshire. It's easy to see why, with the roots wrapping themselves around a boulder in an almost parasitic fashion. It's at the top end of Padley Gorge in the National Trust's excellent Longshaw Estate.
