Mullingar Road League 2023 - Round 3

            This is a photograph from the 3rd round (of three) from the 2023 edition of the Pat Finnerty Memorial Mullingar Road League 5K which was held within the trail grounds of Belvedere House and Gardens, Lough Ennell, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 17th May 2023 at 20:00. This evening's race was held in perfect running conditions - no wind or breeze and warm spring sunshine. This race sees the conclusion of this year's series. The road league series was an immensely popular 5K race series which was held annually in May up to 2016. All proceeds of the event goes to North Westmeath Hospice. The series in 2023 was run over three races on the first three Wednesday evenings in May 2023. The series is hosted by Mullingar Harriers Athletics Club. It is anticipated that the series will return again in 2024.
