            Andrew was "so well liked because of how he treated people. We've had so many friends come by today and tell us that Andrew was their best friend," Risko said.
"And I'm not just saying this because I'm his mom," said Risko. "He was a truly extraordinary person, and I think it's important that people remember him that way."
Andrew Russell "was always writing, or drawing or playing hackey-sack and he wanted to put his art into a portfolio and go back to school," Adam Russell said.
Ferreri was already at school, a full-time student at Montgomery County Community College's West Campus in Pottstown, pursuing a degree in art education.
"He was interested in all kinds of art. He painted and drew and made sculpture," said Ferreri's older sister, Renee Hertzog, 26. "He was thinking about moving to California."

Hertzog said Ferreri was "a wonderful brother. He was very, very caring and he was very funny. He was my heart."
Seeing as Ferreri was "stuck between two girls" while growing up - Hertzog and younger sister, Michelina F. Ferreri, 17 - Hertzog said she was pleased her little brother had bonded with her husband, Joseph Hertzog.
"My husband really was like a brother to him. They would play video games for hours, or hang out and talk," she said.
The loss is also rough on Ferreri's maternal grandparents, Albert P. and Marie F. Romano of East Norriton.
Marie Romano said she and her husband lost their only son 16 years ago at the age of 23 in a skiing accident, "so it's like déja vu all over again," she said. "I think we're in a state of numbness right now."
