NWR 57305+57310 @ Eastleigh Works - a photo on Flickriver

            On the grounds of the former wagon works, enigine shed and locomotive manufacturers at Eistleigh there is still a lot of Railway related activity as said and after a brief period of closure, Easleight works is thriving again. The site is taken over by Knights Rail Services and is now used for all kinds of contract work in rebuilding, modifying and overhauling railway stock for a range of companies, such as London Underground, Network Rail, DRS, multiple freight- and passeger companies and heritage railways! No wonder it is one of the most popular places for the railway enthousiast, albeit most is only visible on open days. On this picture we see two ex-'Thunderburds', redundant with Virgin Trains and now in ownership of Network Rail for engineering and mesurement trains. Behind it a driving trailer of the now defunct 'One' livery.
