Flickriver

            While it was raining, we didn't care too much for looking for a good spot for the VSOE and when it brightened up, it was a little bit too late. So we had to settle for Brockenhirst station and a 'wrong side' shot for the train, top and tailed by - here they are again - our class 67 freinds from Eastleigh. VSOE is a private company that runs luxury specials with steam and heritage diesel traction. However their class 47 locomotive (in matching colour sceme) was out of service so they had to settle for DBS class 67's. The 30 General Motors built 67's were built for fast postal services, but as soon they were introduced this work diminished. Now they are used for a few Enterprise services, a few passenger services and for special jobs like these.
