My Kika

Animula vagula blandula,
Hospes comesque corporis
Quae nunc abibis in loca
Pallidula, rigida, nudula,
Nec, ut soles, dabis iocos...

Piccola anima smarrita e soave,
compagna e ospite del corpo,
ora ti appresti a scendere in luoghi
pallidi, freddi e spogli,
ove non avrai più gli svaghi consueti...

Gentle little vagrant soul,
my body's companion and guest,
where are you off to now,
pale, cold, and bare,
bereft the jokes we used to share ?

My own translation from Latin :

Sweet little Soul, roving and wandering around, 
So delicate and light,
Body's companion and guest,
Now Thou shall go far, far away
Fading, pale, cold and bare,
No more Thou will play and joke
As we were used to do ...
