FEC ES44C4 left front - a photo on Flickriver

For all my friends in the Sunshine State, FEC's new gorgeous ES44C4. Trust me when I say that I'd love to build 3 of these and run them elephant style, but that would take a lot more bright light orange (and med orange and dark orange too). For now this one will be a loner on my roster, but it'll fit in with my older SAL equipment. You can't tell from the outside, but I pulled out all the stops on making this one as light as possible. I haven't weighed it yet, but it is definitely my most hollow and efficient ES style loco build. The only real thing that's new on the outside is my attempt at modelling the lifting air cylinders on the trucks. Once those little dome things come in black I'll change them, but for now flat silver will have to do. Hope you like it.
