Central Maine & Quebec AC4400CW - a photo on Flickriver

            April is a really beautiful time in Maine. Seeing one of these beauties plying the rails through that rugged landscape would be an extra treat. Seeing pictures of this AC4400CW nudged me back into building temporarily. It looks nearly as good in the brick as the real ones do. Again those GE rear vents are a tradeoff, but these didn't turn out half bad. A first for me was that they are not mirrored left to right in construction so both sides are independent of each other; made possible mostly by the great new bracket pieces available. I even went for the more detailed trucks even though they roll very poorly.
