ESA JUICE Mission - Moon Flyby - a photo on Flickriver

            JUICE met the Moon on August 19-20. The Craft  flew at a distance of only 700 kilometers from its surface and then headed toward Earth.

This rendezvous is the first in a complex chain of gravitational maneuvers that should accelerate JUICE to sufficient speed to ensure its entry into orbit around Jupiter. Mission specialists decided to take this opportunity to test the work of the probe’s instruments, including cameras. In total, the JUICE navigation cameras took several hundred images of the Moon.

We have a couple of Flybys Still to come - And again hopefully 'instruments & Cameras can be fired up and ensured to be in fully Calibrated & Honed ready for 2031 And what could be the first array of Sensors and Data to let us know if our Solar System, harbours more than Genisis - The Miricale  that is LIFE  

August NextYear (2025) Venus Flyby

September 2026 - Earth / Lunar Flyby 

January 2029 - Back around Earth and the Moon catapulting it to the Jupiter system
