Small Dent, Pt. 2 - _TNY_3394 - a photo on Flickriver

A female blue-banded morpho (Morpho achilles) with its wings open to signal to potential suitors that she is there.

She appears to have a sligthly damaged wing, but it din't affect her ability to fly at all.

With the very large wing area compared to body weight, butterflies can fly with far larger damage and morphos have unusually large wings even for butterflies so she was all fine here.
