Mating party of Broad-headed Bugs (Alydidae, Coreoidea, Heteroptera, Hemiptera)

This is a mating party of Broad-headed Bugs in the family Alydidae of the superfamily Coreoidea in the order Heteroptera, Hemiptera. Maybe they are Lupine Bugs (Megalotomus quinquespinosus)? The distinctive spiny femurs and athletic build distinguish them from the similar Assassin Bugs (Reduviidae). They also seem to be a bit faster moving. See this photo from yesterday, and Alice's comment. This party is happening on a seedpod of non-native Perennial Sweet Pea (Lathyrus latifolius) in the Fabaceae plant family. They seem to be sucking the seedpod, which is another difference from assassin bugs. (Near Susan Creek, North Umpqua River, Oregon, 19 August 2014)
