For Photo-Focus:
I had a heck of a time getting an exposure to work for this shot.   I tried to get a correct exposure for snow (and never succeeded) and I lost the detail the lone tree in the dark stand of pines in the distance (and lost everything else in the pines as well).  If I corrected for the pines - everything else washed out including the lone tree which was my main interest. (The sky was overcast.)  I ended up using an underexposed image and filling in with a slider.    Anyone have suggestions for snow shots?
