Little Greenbriar Schoolhouse - a photo on Flickriver

HDR of the Little Greenbriar Schoolhouse in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This one room log schoolhouse was used around the turn of the century, housing all grades of students at once. It did double duty as a church. Nestled in a secluded hollow of the mountains, some students walked up to 9 miles to get back and forth from their homes to their rustic place of learning.
