TXL 193 265 @ Unkel 🇩🇪 - a photo on Flickriver

Tijdens deze uitstap hield mijn broer Steven me vanuit België netjes op de hoogte van mogelijke treinen die aangekondigd werden op het 'Sichtungsforum' van 'Drehscheibe Online'.
Zo had hij me al de komst van de staaltrein met Captrain-locomotief gemeld die ik in Unkel kon fotograferen.

Een klein uurtje na de aankondiging van de Captrain-locomotief kreeg ik opnieuw een sms: in Lintorf was er rond 14u een keteltrein van TXL gepasseerd met aan kop een geleasde Vectron van ELL.

De rittijd van de Captrain-loc tussen de spotmelding in Lintorf en mijn puntje in Unkel was ongeveer 1u30: ik had dus nog wel even de tijd om zonder enige vorm van risico van plekje te veranderen en dus trok ik opnieuw 2 kilometer noordelijker en vatte post in de buurt van het station van Unkel.

Het werd eventjes wachten daar aan het station: op een uur tijd was er maar één cargo (jawel: 1) van DB Cargo gepasseerd. Maar goed: om 15u42 (exact een uur na die DB Cargo trouwens) werd de ban dan opnieuw gebroken en verscheen de aangekondigde TXL-keteltrein voor de lens.

Iemand trouwens een idee welke trein dit exact is? Op Drehscheibe Online stond enkel het vertrekstation, namelijk Bottrop! Wie dus meer info heeft: graag ;-)

Auf dem Sichtungsforum von Drehscheibe Online war diese Captrain-Lokomotive schon vorgemeldet worden in Lintorf.
Und eine Stunde später wurde eine TXL-Vectron vorgemeldet in Lintorf. Ich hatte also nog genügend Zeit um nochmals die Stelle zu wechseln.

Anderthalb Stunden nach der Vormeldung fuhr dann der behauptete TXL-Kesselzug durch das Bahnhofsvorfeld Unkels.

My brother kept me informed via the internetforum of 'Drehscheibe Online' of possible freight trains that could passed my place.
He had already informed me of this Captrain locomotive.

And that's how I got another text message around 2pm with nice news: a TXL-Vectron had been seen in Lintorf and was on its way to the south via the valley of the Rhine.

I had to wait a little while but around 3:40pm the Vectron passed my spotting place in Unkel. Yes ;-)
