LINEAS 1319 @ Lens 🇧🇪 - a photo on Flickriver

Ik verliet het stationnetje van Lens en trok iets meer naar het noorden. Op mijn volgende doel moest ik namelijk nog een dik uur wachten en dus wou ik niet op het station blijven zitten - de ijzige kou van eind februari, weet je wel!

Neen, dan zat ik veel liever ergens aan een overweg in de warmte van de auto waarbij ik maar heel even moest uitstappen nadat de overweg mij een trein aankondigde!

Ik kon daar in mijn auto stevig doorlezen in mijn boek totdat deze mooie homogene cargo zich aandiende! Een fraaie sleep VTG-wagons spoorde achter de propere 1319 richting Frankrijk, op weg naar een nieuwe lading graan!

Na deze klik was het dan inpakken en wegwezen... op naar avonturen in het buitenland!

My last picture for February 28 was a picture of this freight train from Aalst-Oost to Tergnier (France). The freight train was composed of the blue VTG-wagons for the transport of cereals!

Here you can see this train whilst passing the fields of Lens in the last sunrays of this beautiful, but very cold day.
