Ik daalde uit de wijngaarden neder ;-) en stond terug op spoorniveau toen Mattias me een leuk nieuwtje vertelde: via een bevriend treinspotter had hij namelijk de tip gekregen dat we koste wat het kost op de rechteroever moesten blijven staan... er zou nog een leuk extraatje onze richting uitkomen! Meer hadden we niet nodig en we bleven dus braafjes staan wachten!

En ja, we hadden niet voor niets gewacht want de verrassing was groot toen we deze aangename trein zagen langsrijden: een overbrenging van museummaterieel van Koblenz naar Stuttgart.

Pure spoorwegromantiek aan de romantische Rijn :-)

Bahnromantik pur am romantischen Rhein.

Wir hatten das grosse Glück diesen Sonderzug mit älteren DB-Wagen zu fotografieren. Die schöne Lokomotive und Wagen sind hier in Lorch zu sehen während einer Fahrt vom Koblenzer DB-Museum nach Stuttgart.

Throwback to the sixties or seventies...

We were lucky to take a picture of this special train with older DB carriages. The beautiful locomotive and carriages are seen here in Lorch whilst working a train from the DB Museum in Koblenz to Stuttgart.
