Een dagje na ons uitstapje naar de Allgäu en het ommetje via Lindau tijdens de terugrit, reden we naar het andere uiteinde van de Bodensee.

Na een bezoek aan het klooster en kasteel van Salem in de late namiddag, deden we nog wat aan sightseeing door het hinterland van de Bodensee waar we op de kronkelende weggetjes voornamelijk glooiende velden en fruitboomgaarden te zien kregen. Rond 18u45 kwamen we dan aan in Birnau, perfect op tijd om na een kort wandelingetje de RB van Friedrichshafen naar Radolfzell op foto te zetten met de fraaie barokke basiliek als motief!

Nach einem Besuch am Kloster und Schloss Salem, fuhren wir weiter zur Wallfahrtskirche Birnau. Da konnte ich nach einem kleinen Spaziergang die RB von Friedrichshafen nach Radolfzell fotografieren mit der barokken Basilika im Hintergrund.

After visiting the Monastery and Palace of Salem, we drove on to the pilgrimage church of Birnau. After a short walk, I was able to photograph this local train from Friedrichshafen to Radolfzell with the Baroque basilica in the background.
