THALYS 4301 PBKA @ Bierghes 🇧🇪

Op dinsdag 16 maart kreeg ik het berichtje (waarvoor dank!!) dat er een THALYS via L94 van Moeskroen naar Brussel-Zuid zou sporen. Het stel had de dagen ervoor testritten uitgevoerd tussen Moeskroen en Tourcoing.
Oorspronkelijk zou de Thalys mijn thuisstad Halle passeren rond 18u30. Dat zou dus niets worden wegens a) werk en b) bijna geen licht meer.

Maar kijk, de trein was met 3u30 voorsprong onderweg en dus was er wel iets mogelijk. Ondanks het druilerig weertje trok ik toch maar even richting Bierghes van waar ik de overbrenging van het stel op de nieuwe brug van de Rue de Ham kon fotograferen. (vroeger lag er hier trouwens gewoon een overweg maar die is dus nu weggewerkt ten voordele van een nieuwe brug).

Oh ja, deze Thalys 4301 PBKA is trouwens de vroegere Disney-Thalys!! Kijk maar eens hier.

Leuk dus om nog eens een Thalys over L94 te zien bollen - ze waren hier namelijk dagelijks te gast tussen 2 juni 1996 (start van de Thalys-dienst tussen Amsterdam, Brussel en Parijs ter vervanging van de klassieke internationale treinen) en 14 december 1997 (opening van hogesnelheidslijn L1 tussen Halle en Esplechin).
