Op zondagmorgen 12 september kreeg ik van een bevriend treinspotter het berichtje (waarvoor nogmaals dank!!) dat de Athus-shuttle van Railtraxx die dag tussen Ronet en Antwerpen omgeleid zou worden via Braine-le-Comte, mijn thuisstad Halle en L26.

Dat opende perspectieven om eens een vette cargo op L26 te fotograferen... alleen ligt die lijn grotendeels tussen de beboste bermen (met zon krijg je dus grotendeels schaduwen) en reed de trein natuurlijk in de namiddag vol tegen de zon in die die dag danig verstoppertje speelde! Voor een keer deed ik dus een schietgebedje en hoopte ik dat de voorspelde opklaringen die dag wat nog langer uitbleven dan gepland!

Een paar schietgebedjes (en een vertraging van een kleine tien minuten waarbij de zon verscheen en verdween) later, zat alles dan wel mee toen de trein onder het viaduct van de Ring rond Brussel tevoorschijn kwam. Een klik later stond deze heuse containertrein dan ook op foto en... video (zie link hierboven) ;-)
