LINΞΛS 186 501-3 + 186 385-1 @ Blanmont 🇧🇪

Aangetrokken door een paar foto's van lijn 161 van mijn broer Steven, trok ik gisteren ook eens naar de mooie plekjes in en rond Blanmont.

Dankzij een goede wegbeschrijving vond ik het plekje met het 'groene venster' zonder al te veel problemen. Alleen de auto parkeren, bleek een ander paar mouwen want er waren met het mooie weer nogal wat wandelaars op stap. Maar goed, uiteindelijk werd dat probleem ook opgelost (en wie zoekt, die vindt...)

Ik stond er in eerste instantie natuurlijk voor de gesleepte IC-treinen van Luxembourg naar Brussel-Zuid: de meeste treinen op deze relatie rijden met een reeks 13 en I10 en I11-rijtuigen. Maar heel sporadisch komt er hier ook wel nog een cargo voorbij. Die cargo's rijden wel alleen maar richting Brussel - of het moet een occasionele omleider zijn, natuurlijk :-)

Ik vroeg mijn contact (dikke merci hé!) dus toch maar eens of er toevallig geen cargo gepland was en ja hoor, ik kreeg een positief antwoord terug! Om 19u11 zou de staaltrein van Châtelet naar Genk in Blanmont passeren. Ik stond dus ook meer dan paraat om deze cargo door het 'groene venster' op foto te zetten. De trein was trouwens maar voor de helft beladen maar tot groot geluk zat de belading wel achter de locs!

Oh ja, ook dank aan mijn broer voor het plattrappen van een heel pak netels op het plekje ;-)
