TUC-Rail 5508 @ Anderlecht 🇧🇪 - a photo on Flickriver

            Vandaag, op donderdag 15 december, vond de laatste commerciële rit plaats van de 5508 in de mooie TUC-Rail-livrei. De loc had eigenlijk vanuit Schaarbeek een paar wagons naar Brussel-Klein-Eiland moeten overbrengen en van daaruit ook opnieuw een aantal andere wagons naar Schaarbeek moeten meenemen, maar op het laatste moment besliste INFRABEL dat het niet nodig was om de wagons te verplaatsen. Het werd dus een rit als losse loc, zowel van Schaarbeek naar Klein-Eiland als ook terug naar Schaarbeek.

Ik wachtte de loc op aan de mooie Vierendeelbrug in Anderlecht-Kuregem waar de loc zich nog net in de warme ondergaande winterzon kon nestelen.

Het werd een mooie afscheidsfoto van deze loc! Voor de volledigheid wil ik wel nog even zeggen dat de loc op 20 en 21 december nog twee afscheidsritten zal doen door België naar onder andere Visé, Gouvy en Bertrix. Maar vandaag was dus echt wel de laatste commerciële rit!

Here you can see the last commercial trip of locomotive 5508 in the beautiful livery of TUC-Rail. It was the intention that the locomotive would take a few wagons from Schaarbeek to Brussels-Klein-Eiland and vice versa, but in the latter case INFRABEL decided that this was not necessary. So it became a ride as a separate loco, both all the (short) way and back.
