MEDWAY 186 212 + 186 219 @ Nispen 🇳🇱

Amper een paar minuten nadat ik op 19 april de nieuw bestickerde LINΞΛS-locomotief #NoTimetoWaste op zijn maiden trip fotografeerde, werd ik een beetje verrast door deze containertrein van MEDWAY richting Antwerpen.

Ik moest dan ook snel improviseren voor dit koppel TRAXX'en met bijbehorende kleurrijke trein. En ook al zorgde MEDWAY dan wel niet voor een verdere uitbreiding van het aantal kleurstellingen dat ik nog niet op foto had (een kwartiertje later kreeg ik namelijk deze loc voor de lens), ergens was de tractie voor deze Neuss shuttle 44560 naar Antwerpen wel leuk. De recent uit lease bij NS gekomen Alpha Trains Traxx-en 186 212 en 219 (in een vorig leven nog in dienst bij B Logistics en LINΞΛS als respectievelijk 2820 en 2827) zijn na een flinke oppoetsbeurt nu dus bij Medway in dienst en verzorgen hier in multipe schakeling deze verbinding.
