CFL 3016 + NMBS 1313 @ Tanville - a photo on Flickriver

            Samen met neef en broer bracht ik op woensdag 14 mei 2008 een dagje door langs de Athus-Meuse. Als bestemming hadden we Vonêche en Pondrôme uitgekozen.

De weergoden waren ons die dag gunstig gezind - op een lokale onweersbui rond halfzeven na. Cargogewijs was het daarentegen vrij stil. We dienden soms bijna twee uur te wachten op de volgende goederentrein.

Maar goed, het begin was vrij intens. Op nauwelijks tien minuten tijd hadden onze fototoestellen al drie keer geklikt! Een van de cargo's die belicht werden, was deze - in alle opzichten - gemengde goederentrein van Mont-Saint-Martin naar het vormingsstation van Monceau.
