Na de doortocht van deze kleurrijke bestelwagentrein in Braine-le-Comte splitsten de wegen van Pieter en ondergetekende. Waar Pieter nog wat in de buurt van Braine-le-Comte bleef, reed ikzelf nog eens in de richting van de Samber-vallei om me voor de tweede keer dit jaar nog eens een uurtje te nestelen aan de oevers van de Samber in Gozée.

Ik had me namelijk voorgenomen om op dit plekje ook nog eens een leuke cargo te fotograferen en dus liet ik die kans op 5 maart 2025 niet liggen.

De aangekondigde cargo van Aalst-Oost naar Nesle-Somme maakte wel meer en meer vertraging. Had ik dat geweten, dan had ik eerst met Pieter nog een andere containertrein op foto kunnen zetten... Maar goed, toen er rond 15u50 een bootje op de Samber in mijn vizier kwam, achtte de cargo het ook wel tijd om voor de lens te verschijnen. En zo reed de 186 255 hier met een klein 1u50 in de plus iets voor 16u langs de oever van de Samber.

After this colourful van train in Braine-le-Comte, Pieter and I split up. While Pieter stayed a bit near Braine-le-Comte, I drove towards the Sambre valley. For the second time this year, I settled down for an hour on the banks of the Sambre in Gozée.

The announced freight train from Aalst-Oost to Nesle-Somme was delayed more and more. If I had known, I could have photographed another container train with Pieter first... But anyway, when a boat on the Sambre came into my view around 15:50, the freight train also thought it was time to appear. And so LINΞΛS 186 255 drove along the bank of the Sambre here just before 4:00 PM, with a delay of approximately 1h50.
