DBAG 101 145-1 @ Oberwesel - a photo on Flickriver

            Na twee weken Oostenrijk was het dan tijd om terug naar huis te keren. Naar goede traditie werd daarbij ook een bezoekje aan de Rijn gebracht. En zo kon ik in Oberwesel deze IC richting Frankfurt op de foto plaatsen. Handig toch dat de stadsmuur pal naast de spoorlijn ligt, niet ;-)

Links in het verlengde van de stadsmuur is trouwens de Hospitalgassenturm te zien. Rechts daarvan ziet men de Katzenturm en daar weer rechts van de Ochsenturm. In totaal zijn er in en om Oberwesel 16 torens te vinden. Ze stammen allen uit de 13e en 14 eeuw.
