Goldcrest (Regulus regulus) - a photo on Flickriver

            Hearing a rustling from a gorse bush I thought I had found a lizard and was very surprised to see this tiny bird only a metre or so from the lens instead.  It proceeded to explore the gorse very close to me for a minute or so before flying off to the next bush.
